I survived the first six weeks of Mr. Galanis' class! :D
One thing i learned in Mr. Galanis class is about kinematics equations! :D
Some examples of kinematic equations are:
Average Velocity: v=d/t
Average Acceleration: a=v/t
Position with Constant Velocity: d=initial velocity + vt
etc....
They apply to class by being able to solve different types of equations we are assign, i can figure out velocity and acceleration with them. :]
These types of equations can apply to everyday life by finding velocity and acceleration of every day car. If I want to find out how fast a car is going I can use a kinematic equation and figure it out.
I think knowing about kinematic equations is important because with the equation it is more easy to find how fast a car is going. I think it helps people save time by instead of using a stop watch, something to get the distance with, and graph it, they can just use one of these equations and find out the velocity or acceleration. :]
