Yes i do think that limits should be set by the goverment and courts on science. Those limits should be set because they would to keep us and them safe. With those limits scientists will know how far they can go in an experiment. We don't want them to create a major accident or worse kill many people because of the experiments.
This would affect scientific inquirybecause many experiments wouldn't be complete and only half done. The limits might of stop them to complete the experiment because they wouldn't want to brake the law and get into trouble.
What i think should be the media's role when reporting about science is just to report what the experiment is about and the reason its being experiment. Maybe even report the scientist and even interview them.
I think that the media and other misinformation has contributed a lot to the image of a mad scientist designing an experiment that could destoy the world. I think that because some reporters make the experiment or the process seem wrong or way to dangerous. Instead of just reporting about what the scientists are doing they scare people by reporting the causes if the experiment goes wrong. That alone scares the people and other's start thinking that the experiment can be so dangerous that it ill destory the world. Reporters just don't realise what they are doing to the people with what they are reporting.
